Lifestream Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary treatment agency that provides outpatient options for individuals who need substance abuse treatment or sex offender treatment. The agency, in Houston, Texas, is located in a highly diverse and sprawling metropolis with over 2.3 million residents.

Two Locations Provide Outpatient Care in Houston

LifeStream is a licensed center with the Department of State Health Services and Clinical Treatment Institute. They have two locations, one on the north side and the other on the southwest side of Houston, both along bus routes. This location, on the north side of Houston, near the Sam Houston toll road and Route 45, offers family services, sex offender treatment and drug treatment.

Broad Array of Evidence Based Treatment Modalities

Lifestream provides a broad array of treatment modalities in traditional outpatient and intensive outpatient programs with an emphasis on drug and alcohol addiction. They don’t offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction, but include evidence based psychotherapies, 12 Step group meetings, anger management and relapse prevention programs. They provide services for adult men and women and transitional age young adults.

They have a special program for people with HIV and AIDS or who are referred through the judicial system.

Lifestream accepts some government or state funded Insurance options as well as cash and self payment. Past clients have praised the welcoming atmosphere and their ability to manage their outside obligations while attending the intensive outpatient program (IOP).
