About Lifespan Recovery Center
Lifespan Recovery Center is an outpatient substance use recovery program affiliated with Brown University Health in Providence, Rhode Island.
The program offers rapid access to evaluation and treatment for adults seeking help with alcohol, opioids and other substance use disorders with services available in person and via telehealth. As part of the Rhode Island Hospital system, the center provides coordinated medical, behavioral and peer support to help individuals start recovery and build lasting change.
Medication Assisted Treatment
Lifespan Recovery Center specializes in medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and other substance use concerns. The multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners and psychologists, licensed mental health counselors and clinical social workers who combine FDA approved medications like Suboxone and Vivitrol with evidence based behavioral therapy to reduce relapse risk and support long term recovery.
Treatment pairs individual and group therapy with case management and peer support addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction. Sessions explore underlying patterns, build coping skills and connect you to the coordinated resources of the Brown Health system for comprehensive care.
Integrated Support
The center emphasizes quick entry into care for adults who are new to treatment, transitioning from inpatient detox, or moving from a methadone program. Your first appointment includes a full psychosocial assessment, Hepatitis C screening and urine testing to establish a personalized treatment plan right away.
Getting Started
Lifespan Recovery Center serves adults at 200 Corliss Street in Providence, with both in person and telehealth options available Monday through Friday. The program is part of Brown University Health and accepts referrals by phone.
