About Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation
Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation drug and alcohol rehab center is located in Chicago, Illinois. They can help you overcome addiction through their different treatment programs. Even if you're struggling with dual diagnosis conditions that involve your mental health, you can find the help that you need here. While they only offer outpatient treatment, this comes in different forms, such as day treatment and intensive outpatient care. They start off by doing an assessment and diagnosing your specific needs in order to develop a treatment plan that is unique to you and can help you the most.
Specialized Services
Their outpatient rehab is available both in person and virtually, ensuring that you can get help even if you can't make it to the clinic physically. They offer a special focus on LGBTQ+ identifiers and provide specific, specialized treatment for those populations. They also offer recovery support and resources during and after your treatment. I found that they offer mental health services to specifically address those needs as well. They put a high importance on family unity, and for that reason, they offer services and support for family members and allies.
Outpatient Treatment Options
Their partial hospitalization program, or day treatment, is their most intensive program. This involves meeting four to five days a week for five to six hours each day. This is a good step to take if you've transitioned from inpatient care and still need a high level of support.
The next step down in treatment intensity is their intensive outpatient program. This combines group and individual therapy sessions and can even help those struggling through opioid use disorder.
Finally, they offer a low-intensity outpatient program that offers weekly group sessions and monthly individual meetings. This isn't for everybody, but if your addiction is on the milder side, this might be the route for you to take.
