About Greater Piedmont Teen Challenge
Greater Piedmont Adult & Teen Challenge is a faith based residential discipleship program in Greensboro, North Carolina serving adult men ages 18 and older who are struggling with drug and alcohol issues.
The program combines Christian discipleship with counseling, work therapy and practical life skills instruction in a structured shared living environment.
Rooted in the belief that lasting change comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the program supports men in becoming mentally, emotionally and spiritually whole.
Faith Based Residential Recovery
Greater Piedmont has guided men toward recovery and renewal since 1975 and is certified by Teen Challenge International, USA.
The seven month residential program is intentionally framed as Christian discipleship rather than conventional rehab, offering an immersive environment for transformation.
The program is divided into three phases: Orientation, Transformation and Graduation. Daily life includes Bible study and counseling, work therapy and recreation, nutritious meals and practical classes on topics like money management and goal setting, all designed to prepare students for successful reentry into society.
Rebuilding Relationships
For married students who complete the first three months, Greater Piedmont offers a Marriage and Family Restoration Program.
This unique component invites wives to participate in dedicated weekend visits at separate facilities, supporting both personal recovery and the rebuilding of family relationships during a pivotal stage of treatment.
Enrollment and Getting Started
Greater Piedmont serves adult men from across North Carolina and throughout the United States from its residential campus on Boulevard Street in Greensboro.
As a long running ministry affiliated with Teen Challenge International, USA, the program operates through private support and accepts self pay along with private insurance options.
