About Fargo VA Health Care System
Fargo VA Health Care System is a Joint Commission accredited Veterans Affairs health system providing addiction and mental health treatment with medical care to Veterans throughout the Fargo region.

The system delivers substance use treatment, PTSD care, and therapy for conditions including depression and anxiety, trauma and bipolar disorder, OCD, and grief.
Substance Use Treatment for Veterans
Addiction treatment at Fargo VA begins with a thorough assessment so care can be matched to each Veteran's needs. Services include counseling and medication all delivered within a comprehensive behavioral health program staffed by VA clinicians experienced in military and post-service issues.
Veterans can access both inpatient and outpatient levels of care with telehealth options available for added flexibility. Treatment addresses underlying contributors such as PTSD, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions helping Veterans build sustainable recovery.
Whole Health and Complementary Wellness Services
Fargo VA pairs traditional behavioral health treatment with Whole Health offerings designed to support recovery on every level. Enrolled Veterans can access acupuncture and chiropractic care, medical massage and reiki, and clinical hypnosis.
Other holistic therapies include wellness classes in mindfulness meditation, yoga, tai chi and qi gong, and nutrition.
