About Daymark Recovery Services High Point
Daymark Recovery Services operates the Guilford Residential Center in High Point, North Carolina a county owned residential addiction treatment program serving adults 18 and older.
The program offers high intensity residential care, medication assisted treatment and individual counseling, substance abuse education and structured discharge planning for both men and women.
Daymark's mission is to help clients restore sobriety and build the skills needed to live free from addiction in a person centered, evidence based environment.
Long Term Residential Treatment
The Guilford Residential Center provides variable length residential substance use treatment with care extending up to 16 months, plus transitional independent living beds for clients stepping down from intensive care.
The 56 bed facility offers semi private rooms, three nutritionally balanced meals daily and 24/7 staffing with hourly overnight checks.
Treatment begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment and person centered plan, followed by individual counseling, substance abuse education sessions and medication assisted treatment when appropriate.
Each client receives a tailored aftercare plan to support a smooth transition back to independent living and long term recovery.
Publicly Funded Recovery
This program is funded by Guilford County specifically for indigent residents who have no means to pay for treatment, making it a vital no fee option for those facing financial barriers to care.
Proof of income is required to determine eligibility and clients with private pay insurance are not eligible for this particular program.
Admissions and Access
The Guilford Residential Center provides in person residential care at 5209 W Wendover Ave in High Point, serving eligible Guilford County residents who meet criteria for high intensity residential treatment.
Admissions are completed Monday through Friday starting at 8:00 AM with both scheduled appointments and walk ins accepted through self referral or outside referrals.
