Cottonwood Tucson is an inpatient facility that treats mental illness and substance use disorders. They are located in Tucson, Arizona near the Tucson International Airport and accept clients from across the country.

Clients can get medical detox here as well as residential treatment and outpatient services. They also have a special veterans program and a family program.

I'm impressed by the large variety of treatment options that they offer their clients. For example, treatment modalities may include EMDR, equine-assisted therapy, rocks and ropes courses, mind-body therapy and so much more.

Each patient is guided by a physician, medical director and primary counselor. Outpatient treatment is available following residential treatment, or as an entry point as well.
