Evening Outpatient in Washington
Co-occurring Outpatient, called Co-OP, is an ASAM Level 1.0 outpatient rehab program at this clinic. The program is abstinence-based and serves people with both substance use and mental health problems.
Co-OP meets in the evening, so you go home after the session instead of staying overnight.
Group or individual counseling in Substance Use Treatment Services can be in person or by telehealth. Whitman-Walker offers medications for opioid use, including heroin and fentanyl, plus alcohol and stimulants.
SMART Clinics can start Suboxone and Sublocade, medications for opioid use disorder, the same day at either location, and restrictions apply.
The Suboxone course stays with you, first for withdrawal and later to decrease and stop opioid use. A pharmacy is on site. Medical detox isn't offered at this location, and residential care isn't either.
The sliding fee schedule applies when income is at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.
District of Columbia Medicaid, Medicare and Tricare Prime are among the public plans accepted.
