Wedge Recovery Centers South Office was a Philadelphia-based outpatient behavioral health provider offering substance use and dual diagnosis services South Broad Street.
The location delivered ASAM Level 1.0 outpatient care, including individual and group counseling, medication-assisted treatmen and psychiatric services for adults and young adults navigating co-occurring conditions.
Wedge built its approach around recovery-oriented, culturally appropriate care that emphasized resilience, empowerment and individualized support.
CLOSED: Wedge Recovery Addiction Treatment
The South Broad Street office specialized in outpatient drug and alcohol treatment alongside dual diagnosis care for co-occurring mental health conditions.
Services included intake assessment, level-of-care determination, psychiatric evaluation, medication management and an opioid treatment program offering Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade and Vivitrol.
Clinicians used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, the Matrix Model, and relapse prevention strategies within individual and group sessions.
Care plans, when previously open, addressed trauma, family dynamics and long-term recovery skills, with case management and peer support helping clients build stability beyond the therapy room.
Community-Centered, Culturally Responsive Care
Wedge served underserved Philadelphia communities with multilingual staff and programming tailored to men, women, young adults and elderly clients.
When previously in operation, it servced LGBTQIA individuals, pregnant or nursing women needing MAT and justice-involved populations.
The organization was designated a Pennsylvania Opioid Use Disorder Center of Excellence in 2016 and recognized for evidence based CBT practice in 2018. However, it closed in May of 2025.
