About Jefferson Health Narcotic Addiction Rehabilitation Program (NARP)
Jefferson Health’s Narcotic Addiction Rehabilitation Program (NARP) is a community-based treatment service in Philadelphia.
The program offers medication-assisted treatment, counseling and co-occurring disorder care for adults across the greater Philadelphia and South Jersey areas.
As part of the broader Jefferson Health network, NARP delivers whole-person addiction care that meets patients where they are in their recovery journey.
Opioid Addiction Treatment
NARP’s core focus is medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction, using buprenorphine, methadone and monthly naltrexone injections.
The program also serves adults seeking alcohol rehab and offers tailored tracks for men, women and young adults, including options for active Philadelphia Medicaid recipients age 18 and older.
Medication treatment here is paired with group and individual counseling, certified recovery specialist support and care management for comprehensive support.
Patients may also benefit from cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, and medical referrals that address root causes alongside daily recovery.
Specialized Programs
Beyond offering medication assisted treatment, NARP provides dual diagnosis treatment along with specialized programming for the LGBTQIA community, seniors and teens.
The program also includes HIV testing, Hepatitis C testing, nicotine replacement therapy and aftercare support, reflecting a truly integrated approach to health and recovery.
