About Wedge Recovery Center Juniper Office Mental Health Services

Wedge Recovery Center's Juniper Office is a South Philadelphia behavioral health provider offering outpatient mental health services and day programming for adults, adolescents and children.

The team treats mood disorders, psychotic disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma and co-occurring substance use through psychiatric evaluation, medication management and therapy.

Wedge is committed to culturally appropriate, community-based care that welcomes underserved populations and the LGBTQIA community.

Outpatient Mental Health Care

The Juniper Office delivers comprehensive outpatient mental health services, beginning with intake and assessment, psychiatric evaluation and matching each client with a dedicated therapist.

Wedge brings decades of experience serving Philadelphia residents through the Community Behavioral Health system.

Clients receive weekly therapy alongside ongoing medication management tailored to their goals.

A same-day walk-in intake policy helps reduce barriers to care, making it easier to begin treatment when you are ready to take that step.

Day Program and Psychiatric Rehabilitation

The Juniper location also hosts REC, a member-driven day program blending outpatient mental health treatment with psychiatric rehabilitation.

Offerings include education, peer support, Wellness Recovery Action Plan groups, crisis support, co-occurring care and complementary approaches such as massage therapy, equine therapy and spirituality consultation.

An Older Adult Program with Saturday availability rounds out the schedule, with peer governance helping shape the experience.
