About Virtue At The Pointe Recovery Center
Virtue at The Pointe is a residential rehab center in Astoria, Oregon, set on a hill above the Columbia River and the Megler Bridge. It treats adult men and women.
Detox and Residential Care
Medical detox at The Pointe has nurses on site through the day and the night, with medication to ease withdrawal. Methadone can be continued for people already taking it, and if you are needing medication for opioid use disorder, you can start at your admission.
When detox ends, the residential program is in the same building, so clients can transition smoothly onto their next program.
Getting to Astoria
Portland International Airport is about two hours away. Those interested in transportation services can contact the facililty.
Veterans have a central place in the residential program, and the facility will transport them from as far as six hours out.
Family sessions happen one or two times a week, and they run all seven days, over Zoom, on the phone or face to face. A spouse or parent across Oregon can still take part from home.

Cigna is in network here for HMO, PPO and POS plans, and veterans in Oregon can use VA community care, which TriWest runs.
Private pay covers both levels, and while BCBS and Anthem aren't broadly in network here, out-of-network benefits on many PPO plans can still go toward care.
