About Awakenings by the Sea
Awakenings by the Sea is an addiction treatment facility that provides care to women seeking to get sober and learn how to effectively remain that way in Seaside, Oregon. This facility provides both detox and recovery services to help you build the skills you need to live a full life without relying on substances. Awakenings is the only ASAM accredited and CARF certified substance abuse treatment center in the state of Oregon.
Residential Treatment
If you’re in the middle of active addiction, you can benefit from the residential program that’s designed to help you get sober. Awakening’s residential treatment tract takes 90 days to complete and is segmented into three phases. The first 30 days is primarily focused on detox.
Depending on the severity of your addiction, this may require medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help manage withdrawal symptoms. Phase two focuses on therapy to help get to the root of what led to your addiction. During this period, you may also receive dual diagnosis care if there are underlying mental health issues that led to addiction.
Phase three builds on the second phase by helping you build the skills to resist relapse. This can include addressing family or relational issues, and will also include family or couples counseling to help focus on these factors. All phases also include participating in the 12 step program and completing steps one through nine before being discharged.
Aftercare Support
Completing the residential program is just one milestone someone with a substance use disorder (SUD) will experience. Aftercare is essential to ensure that they don’t relapse. Awakenings focuses on this through continued AA and NA meetings if needed. Likewise access to weekly online alumni meetings builds peer support to help you through these uncharted times.
Awakenings accepts most major insurance providers but there are also flexible financing options.
