About ViewPoint Rehabilitation Center
ViewPoint Rehabilitation Center was located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. They provided a continuum of services for adults living with a substance abuse disorder. Among the services available here were medical detox, inpatient treatment, and outpatient care. Unfortunately, this facility has since permanently shut down.
Addiction Recovery in a Comfortable Environment
ViewPoint Rehabilitation Center offered a cozy, home like atmosphere. There were individual and private bedrooms, comfortably furnished common areas, and a relatively intimate recovery environment. This is unlike what you would find at a medical facility or many large inpatient treatment centers.
The facility itself was located in a quiet, rural part of town but it was a short 10 minute drive to downtown Rio Rancho. While this area is largely desert like, the Rio Grande River cuts directly through town on the east. Notable attractions nearby include the Petroglyph National Monument, the Coronado Historic Site, and the Sandia Peak Tramway which gives you stunning aerial views of the desert below.
Strong Community Partnerships
When they were open, ViewPoint Rehabilitation Center regularly hosted community events that helped support families of individuals seeking treatment as well as the community as a whole.
Partnerships with local law enforcement enabled them to provide addiction education training, including how to use life saving medications like naloxone or Narcan. They also regularly hosted support groups where you could come and build a community of peers to help you during recovery.
