About VICTA
VICTA is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Providence, Rhode Island, offering integrated substance use disorder and mental health recovery services. The clinic combines medication assisted treatment, intensive outpatient programming, individual and group counseling and on-site ambulatory medical care to support whole-person recovery. With a multidisciplinary team and CARF accreditation as an Opioid Treatment Program, VICTA tailors evidence based care to each person's goals and needs.
What kinds of treatment programs does VICTA offer?
VICTA provides outpatient treatment, including an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that combines 9 hours of weekly group counseling and 1 hour of individual counseling, typically lasting 4-6 weeks. The clinic offers all FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder, including methadone, buprenorphine products and injectable naltrexone (Vivitrol), alongside integrated dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions. Psychiatric evaluation, medication management and peer recovery coaching are also available on-site.

The program serves adults with substance use disorders, including opioid and alcohol use disorders, and people living with co-occurring mental health concerns such as mood instability, trauma related symptoms or suicidal thoughts. VICTA's integrated model is designed for anyone needing coordinated addiction, mental health and medical care in one outpatient setting.
Where is VICTA located and when are services available?
The clinic is located at 110 Elmwood Ave in Providence, accessible by car or bus with free parking. Medication dispensing hours run Monday through Friday mornings and select afternoons, and IOP sessions meet Tuesday through Thursday with daytime and evening options to fit work and life schedules.
Does VICTA accept insurance or offer payment help?
VICTA is in-network with most major insurance plans and accepts self-pay by cash or debit and credit card. The program also offers grant funded assistance and a sliding fee scale, and no one is turned away based on ability to pay.
