About Union Gospel Mission
Union Gospel Mission is a faith based addiction recovery provider in Portland, Oregon offering long term residential support for clients seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction.
The organization combines its LifeChange Recovery Program with homeless outreach services all rooted in an intentional Christ centered community. Residents are welcomed into a setting focused on physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
What kinds of recovery programs are offered?
Union Gospel Mission provides a New Life phase where clients can enter a safe Christ centered community for the first 30 or more days before applying to the LifeChange Recovery Program.
LifeChange is a 12 to 18 month residential program that is goal oriented rather than time based with counseling and trauma healing, recovery coordination, education support, and job readiness training such as resume building and interview preparation.
Who can get help here?
The program serves adults including women with children seeking recovery within a Bible based setting. The Old Town Portland location houses the men's program while women and children are served through Washington County.
Spanish language support is also available.

Union Gospel Mission is located on NW 3rd Avenue in Portland's historic Old Town area. This hub also operates homeless outreach services including on-site meals, clothing distribution, and access to a mobile shower trailer..
