About Tuerk House Main Campus
Tuerk House Main Campus is a Joint Commission accredited substance use disorder treatment provider located in West Baltimore, offering a full continuum of care, including detox, residential treatment, outpatient services and medication assisted treatment. The facility treats adults and seniors for alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma and mood disorders. Tuerk House takes a mind-body-spirit approach with customized treatment plans, wraparound supports and access to care regardless of ability to pay.
Medication Assisted Treatment and Substance Use Disorder Care
Tuerk House specializes in evidence based medication assisted treatment that combines clinically managed medications with behavioral therapy and counseling. The MAT program offers methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone and naloxone, paired with individual, group and family therapy to support recovery from opioid and alcohol use disorders.
Treatment addresses underlying issues through structured counseling and medical support across multiple levels of care. Patients can transition seamlessly from detox to residential to outpatient and MAT services on one campus, with peer recovery specialists and case management integrated throughout to reduce barriers and support continuity.
Crisis Stabilization and Integrated Behavioral Health
The 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Center provides free, walk-in sobering services with no insurance required, including an Opioid Crisis Unit and on-site buprenorphine induction. The Andre Kennedy Center for Integrated Behavioral Health and Urgent Care combines mental health therapy, psychiatric medication management and walk-in medical care for minor illnesses and injuries in one accessible location.
Transportation Provided by Tuerk House
Tuerk House serves Baltimore with in-person care at the Main Campus and telehealth appointments for behavioral health services. The facility provides transportation for appointments, court dates and housing interviews.
Tuerk House accepts most major insurance, including Medicaid, Medicare, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, CareFirst, Cigna and Kaiser. They also offer a sliding fee discount program based on family size and income.
