Located on the fifth floor of New Orleans East Hospital, this new facility accommodates up to 36 adults at a time for detox and residential substance use treatment. Programming generally lasts between 30 and 90 days.

Professional clinicians will guide you through cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. This facility also offers gourmet catered meals.

Medical detox focuses on withdrawal management while keeping you in a safe and comfortable environment. Medications like Subutex and Vivitrol may be used to help solidify your sobriety going forward.

The case management team at Townsend will help you navigate legal, family, or FMLA complications that you might run into. At the end of treatment you’ll have the option to enroll in a chronic disease management plan that will provide you with ongoing supportive care.
