About The Heights
The Heights, located in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a women-only residential treatment center that helps with addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges. They can help you recover from not only addiction but trauma from your past, such as domestic violence, past abuse, or anything else holding you back from healing. They also value the importance of family and show it by offering a kid-friendly space that you can utilize when you visit with your kids during your stay.
Residential Treatment for Women
This is a residential program that usually lasts between 60 to 90 days, depending on your specific needs. They have a full wraparound approach that mixes things like individual therapy, group therapy, family education and case management. They also encourage you to participate in community recovery events, since it is a good way to build a strong network for when you leave the program. They also offer chemical health assessments that are done both in person and remotely.
Outpatient Care for Men and Women
Aside from the residential program, I like that they also offer an intensive outpatient program that is available to both men and women. It's a good extra measure to take for those who are not able to stay there overnight or long-term. It's still high-intensity treatment though, and it usually runs for about six to nine months.
Admissions and Payment
They accept most insurance plans and private pay, and they also accept something called consolidated funding. They choose their admissions on a case-by-case basis, but one requirement is that you're a woman over 18 years old if you want to qualify for their residential program.
What Clients Are Saying
When it comes to what others have said about the program, one former client shared that they absolutely loved the experience and that the staff was amazing. Overall, it seems to have great feedback and seems to be a great place to recover if you're struggling with addiction.
