About Trillium Place at Carle Eureka Hospital
Trillium Place (formerly the Tazwood Center for Wellness) is a nonprofit behavioral health treatment organization in Illinois. The organization provides a hospital based and community behavioral health system that integrates inpatient and outpatient addiction and mental health treatment services, including the outpatient assessment and counseling center in Eureka.
Eureka’s clinic serves children, adolescents, and adults. Clients in the Eureka program may also be referred to networked inpatient and outpatient treatment programs in Peoria, including medication assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate. The organization accepts insurance from major providers, the military, Medicare, and Medicaid.
I think most people will appreciate that the Eureka facility is about 18 miles from downtown Peoria and conveniently situated near major roadways. Eureka College is just down the street, as is Lake Eureka Park.
Small Town Setting
Eureka is a small town in central Illinois that serves as a bedroom community for Bloomington and Peoria. The town is known for its warmth and quiet pace of life. I think it’s a great place to start addiction treatment because, despite the town’s small size, the nearby hospital is home to more than 40 specialty services.
Integrated Addiction and Mental Health Treatment
The organization includes multiple facilities, making integrated care easier. Medication assisted treatment (MAT), naloxone, DUI programs, and specific programs for teens and gamblers are also available throughout their network.
