Spring Hill Recovery Center

Spring Hill Recovery Center is a drug and alcohol rehab center in Ashby, Massachusetts. It's for adults, with detox and residential care on a 70-acre wooded campus.

The same network has an outpatient center as well, in Quincy. Partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and standard outpatient all run from their location there, but the Ashby campus is specifically their residential rehab.

Help for Union Workers

If time away from work is your worry, Spring Hill's staff can help manage those details with you. They can even help you with the insurance and leave paperwork. Union members also have a program of their own.

The Union Members' Program works with union workers and their families on benefits, FMLA and PFMLA leave and short-term disability paperwork. It takes on job related concerns, too, helping you navigate things like the stigma of rehab and advocating for what you need.

Daily Life on Campus

In rehab at Spring Hill, you'll have five or six group therapy sessions each day. They’ll cover topics like relapse prevention, coping skills and life skills. There’s a chef on site who makes three meals a day, plus snacks.

Men and women each have their own living areas. Michael's Building is mainly for men, although it also holds the medical and nursing offices. The three Poet's Cottages are mostly to house women, with private bedrooms and shared living areas.

Ashby sits close to the New Hampshire line in north-central Massachusetts, and Spring Hill offers help with transportation to make sure you can get there smoothly. It's in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem BCBS and Unicare Pilgrim.
