About Solutions Recovery Sober Living
Solutions Recovery Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe spaces for recovery to people struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, their primary campus is a mere walk away from Miller's Bay, and their recovery services include offering 30 beds for men and women across various sober living homes. They also provide spaces for peer support meetings and events for Oshkosh’s recovery community.
Sober Living Space to Support Those in Early Recovery
Solutions Recovery’s sober living program is open to adult men and women, offering them a stable and positive healing environment for six months. Their sober living homes are designed to be a safe place for people in the early stages of recovery.
Typically, the types of people who benefit from a program like this are those who’ve recently received residential treatment as well as those in the middle of outpatient or intensive outpatient treatment programs. The safety of the sober living environment is a place free of distractions where people can begin to implement long term recovery plans and practice new, healthy habits.
In the sober living program, they also provide additional guidance, education, and accountability. The support they offer is targeted at building areas of individuals’ lives that can often be affected by addiction. Their service helps residents build the skills they need to better maintain financial stability and to look after their mental and physical health.
Plugging You Into a Recovery Community
Solutions Recovery also has additional sober living homes for people who’ve completed six months in the primary program. This extension of their housing program gives you more opportunities to interact with the recovery community and resources to which Solutions Recovery provides access.
This includes the chance to continue building friendships and connections within the peer network, allowing you to forge relationships that offer long term accountability and support.
