Here, 72 hours of group work draw on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational enhancement therapy, with classroom teaching, psycho-education, life skills and relapse prevention. The center also recommends SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery and The Most Excellent Way for people who don’t want a 12-step group. Family members join one weekly group with patients and one weekly group without them.
