About Serenity Park Recovery Center
Serenity Park Recovery Center is a residential addiction treatment center based in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was founded by an Alcoholics Anonymous speaker and is now owned by Pathways Recovery Centers.
This facility offers a 30-day residential treatment program with medication assisted detox for men. When admitted to treatment you’ll see a psychiatrist on your first day and be assigned a counselor for individual sessions.
Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment For Men
At Serenity Park Recovery Center, mental health problems are treated alongside addiction. Holistic therapy approaches are used to address the mind, body, and spirit. The approaches you may participate in include yoga, meditation, and other mindfulness activities.
An on-site chef will be available to prepare healthy meals that support your recovery. Each week you’ll receive more privileges as you move your way through the treatment phases. You’ll experience occasional outings like equine therapy, rock climbing, and the Jim Daly Fitness Center.
Individualized Treatment Plan For Recovery
Clients will create an individualized treatment plan with your counselor and receive a discharge plan for continued care. A majority of your time at the facility will involve participating in therapeutic activities or group therapy. You’ll also attend on-site or outside AA and NA meetings.
If detox is part of your treatment plan, you’ll receive around the clock medical care and medications that keep you comfortable and safe. Medically assisted detox generally lasts three to five days. The facility wants to ensure you have long term success with sobriety, which is why your aftercare plan may include connections to intensive outpatient programs and sober living residences.
