Right Choice Health Group

Right Choice Health Group (RCHG) was an organization that offered a select number of addiction treatment programs across several locations, including their primary location in Springfield, Massachusetts. Their primary goal was to help those caught in the grips of opiate addiction. For this reason, they offered medication assisted treatment (MAT) and integrated Hepatitis C testing and treatment into their drug addiction program. They have since closed.

Promoting Freedom, Providing Compassion

At RCHG, they subscribed to the philosophy that the best way to help individuals overcome not only addiction, but the stigmas often attached to it, was to treat it like any other disease. For this reason, they endeavoured to show warmth and compassion in every interaction while combining medication with evidence based therapies and counseling.

They utilized either Suboxone, Sublocade, or Vivitrol (which assists those with alcohol addictions) to keep cravings manageable and reduce the impact of withdrawal symptoms. This meant that, in addition to helping people cease their opiate use, they could also help people switch from methadone (a more potent opioid agonist) to a milder medication (specifically Suboxone or Sublocade in this case).

A Well Positioned Clinic

Another benefit of getting treatment at RCHG was that their offices were close to Springfield’s city center and public transport hubs. This made it easy to get to work before or after sessions and put you near Springfield’s wonderful museums.
