Peace River Center (PRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing excellent mental and behavioral health services through their various campuses in Polk, Hardee, and Highlands counties. From their headquarters in Bartow, Florida, they administer and operate several behavioral and mental health programs offered at their clinics dotted around central Florida. These include their outpatient substance use treatment program, specialized help for persons dealing with co-occurring mental health diagnoses and services for those needing treatment as a part of a court order.

With their awareness resources, they do take steps to provide preventive services to the communities they serve, but the educational material and group support they provide can also help to prevent individuals from relapsing.
