About Orchard Place Campus Residential Treatment Center
Orchard Place Campus Residential Treatment Center is a residential treatment facility for youths ages 12 to 18. They’re located in Des Moines, Iowa. They provide treatment for mental health, substance use, and behavioral health.
Age-Specific Substance Use Treatment
Their substance use program helps youths heal from drug or alcohol use within the context of their communities and families. Teenagers learn to work through any problems their substance use has caused in their friend groups, families, or schools.
Past residents mention the compassionate staff and valuable lessons they learned during the program.
Compassionate and Trauma-Informed Care
Orchard Place is a certified trauma-informed care provider. Every individual or group therapy session handles trauma-topics with empathy and sensitivity. Their goal is to help adolescents work through traumas that are negatively impacting their mental health.
Stay On Track With Schoolwork
They also have a schooling program to keep your child up to date with their education. This enables them to reintegrate smoothly with their school once they’ve completed their treatment.
Since this program is individually paced, some past residents had difficulty keeping up when reentering their schools.
