About Omaha Home For Boys
Omaha Home For Boys is a youth and family serving organization offering residential living, clinical services and transitional supports for adolescents and young adults in Omaha, Nebraska.
The organization provides trauma focused, strengths based treatment for mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse through individual, group and family therapy in a supportive campus setting.
OHB delivers a full continuum of care that meets young people in crisis and walks alongside them through stabilization, skill building and independence.
Crisis Stabilization and Substance Abuse Treatment for Teens
OHB's Crisis Stabilization program offers a 30 to 45 day therapeutic alternative to juvenile detention for teens who need removal from home due to crisis, including those struggling with substance use.
The program delivers daily therapy groups, life skills development, recreation activities and onsite drug screenings in a structured, homelike environment on the Omaha campus.
Treatment planning addresses cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders through trauma informed care that builds coping skills and targets underlying issues.
Sessions focus on accountability, relationship repair and transition planning to help teens return home or step down to outpatient support with tools for sustained progress.
Residential and Transitional Living Supports
OHB serves youth in residential group homes on campus, with access to the BELIEF therapy program, onsite schooling and peer mentorship from Youth Advocates.
Transitional and independent living programs support young adults as they build housing stability, employment readiness and life skills beyond residential care.
