Evidence Based Dual Diagnosis Care on Your Timeline
Notably, clients beginning the top level of care in the partial hospitalization program (PHP) have direct access to clinical and medical program directors. You’ll engage in individual and group therapy with an assigned primary counselor.
The program is trauma informed and helps you identify and treat underlying co-occurring mental health disorders. This program is also gender responsive and culturally informed, so no matter how you identify or what your background is, you’ll feel safe and supported. The first 30 days of treatment are where you’ll build a strong foundation for recovery.
Most clients move to the intensive outpatient program (IOP) after the first 30 days of treatment. Once you’re in the IOP, you’ll be able to return to work or school and begin reintegrating into your life and community. While in the IOP, you’ll be encouraged to build a support group through community self help groups like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or SMART Recovery.
Stimulant Responsive Addiction Treatment
The center has a specialty track for clients with a substance use disorder (SUD) involving stimulants. In the past most stimulant addictions were to illicit drugs like crystal meth and cocaine. Today, many clients have become unwittingly addicted to prescription stimulants such as Adderall and Vyvanse.
Individuals with stimulant dependencies don’t qualify for treatment programs using the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria. But at this facility, you may qualify for the center’s PHP so that you can receive the help you need. In addition to specialized programming for those addicted to stimulants, the facility also offers a specialized addiction treatment program for veterans and active-duty military members.
