About NuPoint Services
NuPoint Services provides substance abuse and co-occurring mental health treatment in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The program provides an opioid treatment program and takes a wellness-focused approach rooted in neuroscience research and the eight dimensions of wellness.
Appropriate Support Level
Care typically begins with an assessment to determine clinical needs and recommend an appropriate level of support. This attention to detail may help ensure that recovery addresses the unique needs of each person.
From there, clients enter structured outpatient treatment designed to provide the depth of an inpatient experience on a flexible outpatient schedule, with options that include medication-assisted treatment and an opioid treatment program.
Medications are useful to help reduce drug cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
Focused on Recovery Skills
Clients can expect therapy drawn from cognitive, behavioral and experiential approaches with a focus on early recovery skills, family education, relapse prevention and social support.
Programming also addresses co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD and poly-substance use. Guests may learn how to recognize substance use triggers and address past traumas and events that may have led to addiction issues.
The admissions team helps clients with benefit verification and offers a walk through of the center.
