Next Step Foundation is a faith based addiction treatment center in Terre Haute, Indiana serving adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns.

What levels of care are provided?
Next Step Foundation offers residential care, transitional housing and outpatient counseling with supportive housing through their step in, step down and step out programs.
Its intensive outpatient program runs three three hour classes weekly for 12 weeks, using approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and EMDR, motivational interviewing and 12 step groups.
Who can get help here?
The program serves adults with substance use and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression and mood disorders.
Separate men's and women's homes are available, pregnant clients may enter and people of any faith or no faith are welcome.
Clients receiving medication assisted treatment are accommodated rather than excluded.
Where is the facility located?
The main facility sits in a restored 1894 Presbyterian church at 619 Washington Avenue in Terre Haute, with residential homes in the surrounding neighborhood.
The program serves the Wabash Valley and partners with local drug courts and probation officers.
Do they take insurance?
Most services are covered by insurance, including Medicaid, Hoosier Healthwise and Healthy Indiana Plan. Scholarships, the Recovery Works Program and an income based sliding fee scale help those without coverage.
