About New Hope Carolinas
New Hope Carolinas is a psychiatric residential treatment facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina serving adolescents and young adults ages 12 to 21. They also provide Multi-Systemic Therapy which is home based behavioral health treatment.
Through relationship based and family centered treatment New Hope helps young people return to their communities with stronger emotional, social, and academic functioning.
The program supports youth with trauma histories and mood disorders, behavioral concerns and dual diagnosis, self injury, and those who have not responded to lower levels of care. Youth in need of intensive substance use treatment are referred to a pediatric SUDS facility.
Adolescent Psychiatric Residential Treatment
As New Hope Treatment Centers' flagship campus, the Rock Hill PRTF delivers 24 hour residential behavioral health care for teens and young adults facing complex psychiatric and co-occurring needs.
Treatment blends counseling with evidence based modalities such as trauma informed CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and the Good Lives model.
Recreational therapy with on-site medical and dental care and an accredited private school round out a structured environment designed to address root causes while building daily life skills.
The Bridge Program and Family Centered Care
The Bridge Program is a signature family engagement model that pairs full time Transition Specialists with parents and guardians throughout a youth's stay.
This approach reframes residential treatment as a shared family journey supporting smoother transitions back home, to school, and into the community.
