About Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition
Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition is a substance use and mental health treatment center in Omaha, Nebraska serving American Indian and Alaska Native adults across the metro area. The organization offers residential treatment, outpatient counseling and transitional living supports designed for individuals seeking recovery within a culturally grounded framework. The program blends evidence based therapies with Native wellness traditions to support healing, stability and long term sobriety.
Addiction Treatment Programs
Treatment begins with a comprehensive substance use or mental health evaluation, available on a sliding scale. From there, clients may enter the 14 bed co-ed residential program, where culturally relevant care integrates individual and group counseling with traditional healing practices in a small and supportive setting.
Outpatient services include individual therapy and telehealth sessions, peer support and case management for adults who need flexible care or are stepping down from residential treatment. Following residential completion, clients can access transitional living with ongoing counseling and person centered planning focused on vocational and educational goals, relapse prevention and community reintegration.
