House of Mercy is a long term residential recovery program located in Des Moines, Iowa serving men who struggle with addiction to drugs and alcohol. House of Mercy offers a no fee residential program where participants can stay up to one year providing a supportive environment to rebuild their lives and work toward lasting recovery.
Faith Based Recovery
House of Mercy provides a structured, faith oriented recovery program designed to address the root causes of addiction while fostering spiritual growth and personal accountability. Residents participate in daily devotions, Bible studies twice a week and chapel services to support their recovery journey alongside individual and group counseling sessions.
The program emphasizes a disciplined daily routine that includes recovery meetings, case management and work therapy to help men develop healthy habits and coping skills.
By combining spiritual development with evidence informed counseling and peer support, treatment addresses both the behavioral patterns and underlying issues that fuel addiction with clear focus on long term stability and relapse prevention.
Reintegration Support
House of Mercy offers comprehensive life skills training, work therapy and employment readiness support to help residents transition to independent living.
