About Lehigh County Drug & Alcohol
Lehigh County Drug & Alcohol is a county administered substance use services program based in Allentown, Pennsylvania serving as a public access point for addiction care across Lehigh County.
Operating out of the Lehigh County Government Center, the program is built to connect residents with the right level of care and the broader supports needed to sustain recovery.
Your Entry Point for Addiction Referral
The program's core role is guiding residents through assessment and matching them with appropriate treatment across the continuum of care. Intervention services help clients and their families recognize substance-related problems and take the first steps toward engagement.
From there, clients may be connected with intensive outpatient programming or inpatient options including detox, short-term residential, and long-term residential care. Halfway home services are also available to support sustained recovery after treatment.
Case Management and Whole-Person Support
Intensive case management is designed for Lehigh County residents with complex needs who lack the resources to navigate recovery alone.
Case managers work to improve treatment retention while linking clients to psychiatric care and housing, vocational and educational resources, and medical services. Spanish-language materials are available to support multilingual access.
