About IntoAction Recovery Center Extended Aftercare
IntoAction Recovery Center Extended Aftercare is a Houston-based extended aftercare housing program serving adults transitioning out of higher levels of substance use treatment.
The program supports clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, blending proven therapies like CBT, DBT and EMDR with 12-step recovery and sober community living.
IntoAction takes a people-centered approach designed to help residents build lasting sobriety while developing the practical skills needed for independent life after treatment.
Extended Aftercare Housing
This location is a 21-bed extended care facility designed for clients nearing the end of residential treatment who still need structured recovery support.
As part of IntoAction's full continuum of care, it bridges the gap between clinical treatment and independent living in a sober, supportive environment.
Residents participate in therapy, 12-step meetings, relapse prevention, life skills development and vocational or educational support.
Amenities include a meditation room, recreation room and a private setting, and alumni stay connected through a Thursday night meeting at the Up the Street Club.
Dual Diagnosis Recovery
IntoAction also treats co-occurring mental health conditions alongside addiction, integrating family therapy, recreational therapy and mindfulness practices.
Specialized programming is available for men, women and young adults, helping each resident address underlying issues while strengthening recovery skills.
