Cobb County George W Hartmann Center

The George W. Hartmann Center is a residential substance use treatment program in Marietta, Georgia, serving adolescent girls ages 13 to 17 with a primary substance use disorder diagnosis.

Located on Lawrence Street, this gender specific program offers 24 hour supervised care in a structured, therapeutic setting.

Treatment begins with comprehensive behavioral-health and biopsychosocial assessments, followed by individualized service planning.

Care is delivered at ASAM Level 3.1 clinically managed low-intensity residential services and ASAM Level 3.5 clinically managed high-intensity residential services.

Residents participate in substance use recovery groups, individual and family counseling and relapse-prevention planning.

The program incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, the Matrix Model and trauma focused CBT, along with psychiatric, nursing and co-occurring disorder care.
