About Bryan Medical Center West Campus
Bryan Medical Center West Campus in Lincoln, Nebraska offers addiction treatment services through the Bryan Independence Center. The facility is a hospital-based substance use treatment program that provides a full continuum of care for both youth and adults. With a 12-step orientation and integrated dual-diagnosis care, the Independence Center combines medical expertise, mental health support and structured programming to help clients build lasting recovery.
Medical Detox Support
Treatment begins with a substance use evaluation that is available by walk-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays or by appointment throughout the week. From there, clients may enter medical detox (1 to 5 days of 24-hour medically monitored care) or move into residential treatment where they live on campus and participate in intensive programming for an average of 23 days.
Flexible Programming Options
The continuum also includes day treatment for 4 to 8 hours per day, 3 to 5 days a week and intensive outpatient care running Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Clients receive individual counseling, family sessions, group therapy and gender-specific programming delivered by an interdisciplinary team of counselors, nurses, psychiatrists, mental health practitioners and a spiritual counselor to address both substance use and co-occurring mental health needs.
The center accepts Nebraska Medicaid, self-pay (down payment required at admission), cash, check, and credit card.
