About Advantage Mental Health Center

Advantage Mental Health Center is a boutique psychiatry practice that’s located in Clearwater, Florida. The clinic treats adolescents, men, women, and seniors.

The center will provide you with a super bill so you can request reimbursement from your insurance. Initial evaluation appointments last 1.5 hours. Follow up appointments last 30 minutes.

Substance Use Outpatient Treatment

Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and counseling are available virtually via telehealth. They offer flexible hours and meeting times throughout the week. This allows clients with diverse schedules the opportunity to seek treatment.

Outpatient services are offered at the center. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also available at this facility. The center prescribes medications such as buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone, and Vivitrol. Counseling and behavioral therapy treat the psychological aspects of addiction and dual diagnosis.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

The center offers restoration of the brain’s neurotransmitter levels through transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). This treatment can help reduce your levels of depression, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder. An alternative to medication, TMS consists of 36 treatments each for 19 minutes. Group therapy is offered for free.

Spravato Treatment for Co-occurring Depression

Immediate relief is available to you if treatment has not reduced your depression. Spravato is a nasal spray used in combination with an oral antidepressant.

Genetic Testing for MAT Results

Genetic testing allows the center to determine which psychiatric medication will work best for you. This is simply a cheek swab and can prevent you from trying numerous medications, so you can go straight to the one that works.
