Adult Family Health Services is an outpatient addiction treatment and behavioral health center in Clifton, New Jersey who serves adults with  substance use IOP and standard outpatient care. They also offer mental health partial care and dual diagnosis treatment.

Transportation and Nutritional Support

AFHS's mental health partial treatment program goes beyond therapy and medication management.

It includes transportation and nutritional assistance which is aimed at clients ready to transition back to community life after residential treatment which is a wraparound layer unusual for a small outpatient agency.

This is ideal for those who would otherwise struggle to attend a day level program consistently. Their services are also reachable without self transportation.

The Orchard Street site sits about a five minute walk from the Transit 705 bus stop and roughly seven minutes from the Clifton train station with telehealth available as an alternative.

AFHS serves adults across the Clifton area. They accept Medicaid and other insurance with a sliding fee scale for eligible clients.
