Lifetime Counseling Center

Lifetime Counseling Center in Cocoa, Florida is a private nonprofit substance use treatment center committed to making treatments accessible and affordable. They are a program of the Space Coast Health Foundation.

The clinic accepts Medicaid, state financed health insurance plans, TriCare and others. A sliding fee scale is available for those needing financial assistance.

The center has experience working with specialized groups as well such as veterans, active duty military personnel, and their families. They treat co-occurring disorders like PTSD, serious emotional disturbance in children, and serious mental illnesses.

Counseling for Co Occurring Disorders

Counseling is available to all ages at their office or virtually. Counselors are experienced with treating anxiety, depression, and grief and loss as well as eating disorders, behavior problems, substance use, and relationship difficulties. Sessions can be scheduled for couples and families.

Healthy Living with Thrive Within

The center offers a program called Thrive Within. You can schedule wellness training sessions that you are interested in. Their website gives you access to their monthly newsletters and a library full of resources to help you live healthy.

The program provides scheduled events too such as a Fall Fam Fest. Families go through several stations that offer board games, team building activities, outdoor games, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and other activities. Food and prizes are also available.

The program also offers a free 30 day mental wellness challenge called The Daily Thrive. The challenge includes journaling and activities that reduce stress, improve your mood, boost your energy levels, and increase resilience.
