Zinnia Health Indiana

Zinnia Health Indiana in South Bend, Indiana, is an inpatient addiction rehab named after the Zinnia flower. The Zinnia grows quickly, is adaptable to its environment, and thrives in less than desirable conditions.

The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and LegitScript certified. They accept most major insurances, cash or card payments. Initially the center will call you with some prescreening questions about your living environment and substance use. Payment and insurance will be collected upon acceptance.

Residential Treatment for Substance Addictions

Medical detox is available for clients who are or will be withdrawing from substances. The facility treats alcohol and drug addictions.
Substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders are treated concurrently. If needed, you will be placed on treatment medications for substance use and mental health disorders.

Holistic therapies used include cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. Experiential therapies include art therapy, music therapy, wilderness therapy, yoga meditation and breathworks.

Healing for Heroes Program

The Healing for Heroes program offers veteran focused groups for men. The program accepts veterans, active-duty military, first responders, firefighters, law enforcement and corrections officers.
Healing for Heroes treats addiction, co-occurring disorders, trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety. Services offered include detox, inpatient treatment and partial hospitalization.

Day-to-Day at Zinnia Health

Mobile phones are not permitted, but your family can visit outside of programming hours. The program lasts 30 to 90 days.
The facility is equipped with televisions, a kitchen and laundry facilities. Weekend outings give the residents a chance to leave the facility and have fun as a group.

Aftercare Support Services

Zinnia offers sober housing and alumni programs. Sober housing allows clients who are not able to return to a sober environment extra time to improve their life situation and still receive minimal counselling and support. Alumni programs meet for group sessions and do fun outings together.
