Serving the community of Ethel, Louisiana, Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center offers comprehensive addiction treatment. You can choose from residential care, a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program or a standard outpatient program. Medical detox and aftercare programming are also a part of treatment at this facility. Woodlake uses the traditions and principles of the 12 Steps and the Oxford Group to inform treatment programming.
Holistic Approach to Treatment
Woodlake believes that addiction is a manifestation of underlying issues. During treatment they address the mental, emotional, social, physical and volitional aspects of your personality.
While in residential treatment, you’ll navigate through four phases of recovery. You’ll receive a hyper individualized treatment plan with specific tasks and assignments tailored to your personality and goals. Using the four absolutes - honesty, unselfishness, love and purity, along with the 12 Steps, licensed clinicians will help you heal.
Three Levels of Outpatient Programming
You can choose outpatient programming that works for your schedule. The partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides treatment sessions between five and seven days per week, but you’ll still live at home. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) requires you to commute to the facility three days per week, while the outpatient program includes one day per week of treatment. Outpatient treatment encompasses the disease concept, spirituality, relapse prevention and the 12 steps. Family therapy sessions are provided as needed.
It’s important to note that all treatment participants get free aftercare for a year after graduating treatment. Aftercare includes support groups and life skills training. Through these sessions you’ll continue to develop coping strategies and build resilience.
