Volunteers of America Alaska is a nonprofit youth and family behavioral health provider in Anchorage, Alaska.
The program serves youth ages 12 to 24 with counseling, intervention and case management.
VOA Alaska takes an integrated, strength based and family focused approach to recovery, blending clinical care with wraparound community support.
Youth Addiction Treatment
Care typically begins with an assessment to determine the most appropriate level of support.
Young people can access a continuum of services including outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient (IOP) and day treatment through the Christopher Walden School of Hope, which combines academics with therapeutic programming.
For higher acuity needs, residential substance use treatment is available through the ARCH program and telehealth counseling extends statewide.
Clients can expect therapy, peer support, case management, CBT and cooccurring disorder care.
