U-Turn for Christ South Carolina provides faith-based substance use treatment in Lexington, South Carolina. They offer Christian residential programming for men where participants can work on overcoming addiction through the love of Christ.
Restoration and Teaching
U-Turn for Christ is a discipleship ministry that believes men are in bondage to addiction and that an intimate relationship with God can set them free. Guests study Scriptures to learn more about the freedom offered to those struggling with substance use and other addictions.
The program has two phases. During the first phase, men have chores and Bible studies, along with work duties. Phase two includes a six-month commitment where guests find secure employment and learn to be responsible.
Helping the Community
One of the features of the program is its community support. The team believes in giving back to the community, and residents volunteer with different agencies and on the Calvary Chapel Lexington campus. The goal is to teach clients to be self-supporting, independent and stable. U-Turn for Christ believes when people surrender themselves to the Lord, they can change and never be the same again.
