About The Thirteen Step House
The Thirteen Step House is a men's recovery residence in Fort Wayne, Indiana that provides sober living for adults in recovery from alcoholism and addiction.
Grounded in Alcoholics Anonymous principles, the program combines 12-step work with life-skills training, spiritual growth and peer accountability.
The house provides men with a safe and structured environment to rebuild their lives, both physically and emotionally.
Sober Living for Men
The Thirteen Step House centers its program on Alcoholics Anonymous as the cornerstone of recovery.
Residents are encouraged to attend 90 meetings in 90 days, secure a sponsor, establish a home group and engage in service work within the broader recovery community.
Daily life in the house emphasizes action, accountability and spiritual fitness through prayer, group participation, and mentoring.
Life-Skills Training and Community Reintegration
In addition to the emphasis on 12 step recovery, the house equips men with practical tools for independent living, including money management, employment skills, study habits and cooking classes.
Staff also coordinate with Community Corrections, Drug Court, and Recovery Works to support residents navigating justice-adjacent transitions back into stable, sober lives.
The residence is a complex of four buildings with capacity for up to 50 men, complemented by weekly social and recreational activities.
