About The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center ARC
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is located in Memphis, Tennessee, and serves adults ages 21-65 who are seeking support services for their mental health struggles or substance use disorder. This non-profit organization is well known for its work-therapy program. Through this program, you’ll begin working towards sobriety by serving in Salvation Army facilities, including their thrift store operations. For a minimum of 180 days, you’ll practice critical skills including independence and social reintegration. You’ll also work on building a strong self-image, building your confidence, and working towards establishing a sense of accomplishment. Complimenting the work therapy program are individualized counseling support, spiritual counseling, and peer support.
