No-Cost Assessments
They offer substance abuse assessments for youth and teens from the age of 13-25 that are provided for no cost. Once an evaluation is complete, they will develop a care plan for those who need support in overcoming their addiction issues. This may be through a residential program, intensive outpatient program, or through outpatient individual, family or group counselling.
Two-Step Care
Residential care is offered in an age-appropriate, trauma-informed residential facility. The younger age group program is for youth aged 13 to 17 years of age. The young adult program is for individuals aged 18 to 25.
The first step residential program is six weeks long and can be followed with step two. This is a transitional living residence that provides a home and care for teens between the ages of 13 and 17 years of age. They can stay in step two for 45 days.
The Insight Program is open from 10 am until 5 pm from Monday to Friday. It is not open for office hours on the weekend but does plan and hold sober events and activities for youth and young adults on both week and weekend evenings.
Youth learn positive goal setting, life skills and how to build self-esteem in themselves and others. They gain a support network and a peer group that is focused on a positive and sober future.
Outpatient Treatment and Aftercare
Support offered to the youth lasts longer than the six or 12 weeks they may be in residential care. There are outpatient programs, intensive outpatient programs and aftercare support groups for continuing care. These services help individuals succeed at their treatment and life goals long-term.
