About The Dimock Center Health Services
The Dimock Center is a community health center offering outpatient and residential addiction treatment as part of an integrated care campus in Roxbury, Boston.
It serves people of all ages including men, women, young adults and older adults, with support for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Dimock is built on a whole-person, community-based mission that connects recovery with medical care, behavioral health and family support.
Whole-Person Addiction Care
Dimock's Outpatient Addiction & Recovery Services (OARS) is a structured day program designed for people in early recovery.
The program blends individual, family and group counseling to help patients build stability and reconnect with what matters most.
Sessions focus on relapse prevention, intervention, parenting and anger management, addressing both the roots of addiction and the daily skills needed to sustain progress.
Because care is delivered on a single campus alongside primary care and mental health services patients benefit from coordinated, wraparound support.
Office-Based Addiction Treatment
Dimock offers Office-Based Addiction Treatment for substance use disorders integrated directly into the Adult Medicine Clinic.
This approach makes referrals easier and helps reduce stigma by treating addiction alongside routine medical care.
The campus also provides detox, clinical stabilization and aftercare support for a full continuum of care.
