About The Crossroads Center
The Crossroads Center is a CARF accredited nonprofit behavioral healthcare agency offering addiction treatment and mental health services in Cincinnati, Ohio and Hamilton County. The center provides residential and outpatient care for substance use disorders, co-occurring mental illness and opioid addiction with specialized programs for adults, adolescents and women. With roots dating back to 1951, The Crossroads Center emphasizes safe, nurturing environments and the power of positive relationships to support whole person recovery.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
The Crossroads Center's SAMI program delivers integrated outpatient treatment for adults facing both substance use and mental illness including major depression, anxiety disorders and bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. This simultaneous treatment model addresses both diagnoses at once rather than treating them separately, with comprehensive diagnostic assessment, individual and group therapy, drug screening and case management.
Sessions combine evidence based therapies with practical wraparound supports to stabilize symptoms, reduce substance use and improve daily functioning. By treating mental health and addiction as interconnected challenges, the SAMI program targets root causes and helps clients build sustainable recovery skills.
Specialized Care for Women
The Crossroads Center offers a women's continuum of care and the MOMS Program, which prioritizes pregnant and postpartum women with opioid use disorder. The MOMS Program provides expedited intake, medication assisted treatment with methadone or buprenorphine and coordinated referrals for housing and transportation, legal services and employment assistance to support mothers and families in recovery.
